Generates 1V/oct CV by summing semitone intervals through a resistor-ladder DAC. No microcontroller: analog comparators turn any signal crossing 1V into on/off states, and each input switch adds an interval or inverts it. A bottom input transposes an external sequencer or keyboard. Uses 0.1 percent resistors in 0805 and SOIC footprints plus through-hole panel parts. Around 140 USD assembled.

This is a third-party open-source design, listed here as a build reference. Specs are researched from public sources; check the source repo and store for the current BOM, panel, and revision before ordering parts. Corrections welcome.
